MD/CEO of Tenece Group has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Group on Technology and Creativity

President Mohammadu Buhari in 2017 created an Industrial Competitiveness Advisory Council in order to enhance industrial policies and performance in the country.

As part of the council, on June 11 2018, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, inaugurated a 50-man Advisory Group on Technology and Creativity which consists of ministers, heads of agencies as well as players in the technology and creative space in order to boost a public-private partnership. Kingsley Eze, the MD/CEO of Tenece Group who is also the founder of Genesys Tech Hub was among those that were inaugurated.

Private players in the tech space included in the group are founders of innovations hubs across Nigeria, investors and tech entrepreneurs. They are currently working with the Vice President in a bid to attract foreign investment into the Nigerian tech space.

Members of the Advisory Group include Ministers of Communications Technology; Industry, Trade and Investment, Information and Culture; Science and Technology; governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Executive Vice Chairman, Nigerian Communications Commission; Director General National Information Technology Development Agency.

Others include the Director General, Nigeria Film Corporation; Managing Director, Bank of Industry; Director General, National Export Promotion Council and the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Investment Promotion Council. Private sector members of the Group include Mosopeoluwa Olasebikan – Civic Hub; Funbi Falayi – Leadspace; Oloho Omame – Endeavor; Kola Aina – Ventures Platform; Kola Oyeneyin –Venia Hub; Ismaila Sanusi – Colab Kaduna; Daser David – Nhub Jos and Adeyinka Adekeye – Founders Hub.
