Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Cloud Technology Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. As a solutions architect, you will collaborate with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, design scalable architectures, and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, technical requirements, and challenges to design cloud-based solutions that address their needs effectively.
- Create high-level solution architectures, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and operations teams, to translate architectural designs into practical implementation plans.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services based on client requirements.
- Provide expertise in areas such as cloud infrastructure, microservices, containerization, serverless computing, and data management.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering technical consultation and guidance on cloud architecture, migration strategies, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales teams in pre-sales activities, including solution presentations, demonstrations, and proofs-of-concept.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful implementation of cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during the implementation phase.
- Assist in post-implementation support, including monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization of cloud environments.
- Develop and promote best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud technology adoption within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a solutions architect, cloud architect, or a similar role, designing and implementing cloud-based solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
