On the 7th of October 2021, Tenece Professional Services, in partnership with Huawei Technologies, hosted her esteemed clients in the education sector to an informative and eye-opening summit under the theme “Smart Education Summit” held at Best Western Hotel Independence Layout, Enugu.
The summit was attended by Vice-Chancellors, Rectors, Provosts, and Directors of ICT Departments of different higher institutions, respectively. They were taken on the need to embrace an Intelligent/digitalized transformation in the system of Education and to facilitate innovation in teaching and learning management.
Mr. Olayemi Joseph, a Solution Architect with Huawei Technologies, talked about how the future intelligent campus will not only be a simple add-up of IT systems. It will also be an organic being with self-evolution and continuous iteration, which will connect infrastructure, people and unify intelligence and data assets. The benefits would include an entirely wireless campus and seamless access, a fully automated network for efficient operation & maintenance, talent development, and fueling business systems fusion.
His colleague, Mr. Kenneth Igwe, an Ecosystem Development Manager at Huawei Technologies, introduced the Huawei ICT Ecosystem and extensively narrated the advantages of the Ecosystem to institutions and students. He also showed the audience images of students and details of institutions who have benefitted from being a part of the Ecosystem.
